HOW TO GET RICH & POWERFUL USING THE CHURCH: 10 STEPS
1.) Present yourself as the holy man – The most strategic part of any commercial product is to be accepted by the people. In this case, the product is you. You start by branding yourself – by giving yourself a title. Call yourself Pastor, and then progress to Bishop, then advance to Overseer, then finally, qualify yourself as a Prophet. You can also add Major, Emeritus or even own all those titles at once. These titles are very important to your brand. That is how you will be taken seriously. Very soon, everyone will start inviting you to prophesy on their behalf.
2.) Protect yourself against criticism – Criticism is a demonic negative energy that will kill your brand before it even starts. Therefore, make sure that you ignore those who try to oppose your ministry. If anything, pretend to be the victim of jealousy or just label them as haters sent by the devil. Warn them that to stand against you is to stand against the Almighty Himself. Make sure you preach, “touch not the Lord's anointed" every time you get a chance.
3.) Don’t worry about doctrine – Convince yourself that knowing the Bible is being religious. Therefore, don't stress about spending time studying “too much Bible”. In fact, despise anything called a Bible school. Because of that, make sure you avoid, as much as you can, difficult theological questions. Anything that is beyond or contradicts what you have been taught, just ignore it. Instead, act as if you spend a lot of time praying. In fact, shoot pictures of yourself when you go to the mountain to pray so the world will see you as a prayerful man.
4.) Be a motivational speaker – Do not be too concerned about teaching salvation, heaven, hell, and all those old-fashioned things about the coming of Christ. Those topics are not appealing to people anymore. Instead, make sure that you promise your people that God is all about solving their life problems, today and now! Give them 10 steps to a successful life and 5 steps to a financial breakthrough. Always promise your people that this year is their year. God has remembered all their cry. Don’t forget to narrate a lot of stories about how you became successful.
5.) Dress the success – Remember, you are trying to convince your people that your message works. That is how they will buy into your vision. Therefore, make sure you project that image through your dressing. Get the most expensive, shiniest suits that you can get. Have the best car. If you can’t buy it, you might as well hire one and do a photoshoot with it. Act rich, my guy.
6.) Major in the topic of giving – All your efforts are in vain if your followers will not give you the money. Therefore, it is imperative that you wear them out about financial giving to your ministry. Teach them about all the miracles that come from giving a seed envelope. Embarrass those reluctant with their wallets and label them as stingy, lovers of money. Whatever you do, do not forget the topic of tithe. Use it. Warn those non-tithers that something very bad will happen to them if they continue in their disobedience. Divide your church into those who pay tithe and those who don't. Those who do, select them for special prayers, so that the non-tithers will be ashamed. You can also use other fear-based teachings, like the generational curses and spiritual husband, to get your people to give.
7.) Don’t criticise other ministers – If you want to be big very quickly, then other ministers are the gateway. Make sure you never criticise any man of God, even if you disagree with them. Especially those famous prophets on TV. Instead, make videos defending them no matter what they do. Remember, your hope is that one day, one of those powerful prophets will get your attention, and call you to minister in their church, further enhancing your visibility.
8.) Choose leaders based on loyalty – When choosing people to help in your ministry, don't worry about the Biblical qualifications for church leadership. Instead, identify the most loyal sons in your congregation and make them your leaders. Make sure that these individuals who surround you are 'yes' men, so that they agree with everything that you do without any questions.
9.) Avoid financial accountability – Make you put so much fear into your followers so that no one will dare ask you about the church money. Teach them how they forfeit the right to the funds they give to the church as soon as the cash enters the offering basket, because it is now God's money. That way, no one will dare ask you even when you spend it all on your luxury lifestyle.
10.) Marketing – This is the last step to bloom your church business. Get yourself to the world. Have a big billboard outside your church with a portrait of you holding your wife. Make flyers and spread them. Have an active social media account. Have a media team if you can. Spread your content as much as you can. Do not turn down any invitation to preach in other places. Also, add the words "International Ministries" to the name of your church to attract a worldwide audience. If you have enough money, open a TV channel so the world can watch your services that are specially edited to project what you want them to see.
Conclusion. Actually, this is not advice to make money using the church. Instead, it is a warning. It is an eye-opener to the kind of tactics that false prophets use to grow their ministry empires. In reality, these are not churches, but worldly, ungodly, get-rich schemes disguised as churches. My appeal to you, my beloved: do not be like them. You see, there is nothing wrong with wanting success. However, it has to be through your own sweat and blood; hard work, determination and discipline. Go to school if you have to. Do a skills course. Open a business. Just do not use the house of God to advance your carnal desires. Instead, come to church to seek the Lord out of a genuine heart and to faithfully serve – free of charge! That is what we need in this continent of Africa. It begins with you.
